Hexiwin Help

Menu Commands:

Well there aren't many menu commands to worry about with this program, because I wanted to keep it simple, but useful.
The only drop down menus are File, Search, and Help. Below is an explanation of the commands on the drop down menus.

File:

• Open -- Open any readable file to be dumped in hex to the screen.
• Save -- Save the opened file with it's present name and extension.
• SaveAs -- Save the opened file with a different name or extension.
• ExportAs -- Save the opened file to a .txt or .doc file for later viewing. Warning! If you export to a .txt or .doc file the
  exported file will be 4.25x the size of the original file.
• Exit -- Exit the program.

• Find -- Search for hex or ascii values in the opened file. You can search for hex or ascii values in the up or down directions.
  Ascii string searches can be case sensitive or non-case sensitive.
• Goto -- Go to the specified offset in the opened file. The values can be either Hexadecimal or Decimal.

• Help - HTML from Web -- View the Hexiwin website for help.
• Check for updates -- Check for newest version of Hexiwin at this website.
• About -- Just a little dialog box with some info about the program.

• The bottom status bar has 3 elements.

1. is the present status.
2. is the present offset address of the opened file.
3. is the present size of the opened file.
